IPTL 2015: Back to win the cup - the Micromax Indian Aces!

The power-packed Micromax Indian Aces

Finally, much to the delight of tennis fans in India and Asia, the IPTL is back! For those of you who do not know, the International Premier Tennis League is back again for a second season. With world-class players from all over the world, the league has been a huge success.

Taking a leaf out of the books of popular sporting leagues like the Indian Premier League and the Pro Kabaddi League, the International Premier Tennis League will see international players play alongside domestic talent, in a unique format like no other.

With four teams returning from last year, including the Philippine Mavericks, the Micromax Indian Aces, the UAE Royals and the Singapore Slammers, the league is all set to be the tennis extravaganza that we expect it to be. But, the second season of the tournament will also mark the debut of a new team – the Japan Warriors! The team, which has Maria Sharapova and Kei Nishikori, will be a force to reckon with! The IPTL, which was created by Indian tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi, after witnessing the huge demand for tennis in Asia, will see the second season kick off in late 2015!

The latest season of the International Premier Tennis League will see some of the gods of tennis descend onto the courts, including Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Maria Sharapova, Sania Mirza, Serena Williams and many more. The tournament will also host Maria Sharapova and Leander Paes for the Japan Warriors, Rafael Nadal for the Micromax Aces and Novak Djokovic for the Singapore Slammers.

While the competition prepares for the upcoming tournament, the Micromax Indian Aces seem ready to take everyone on. With big names attached to the team like Rafael Nadal, Gael Monfils, Agniezka Radwanska, Fabrice Santoro, Ivan Dodig, Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna, the team seems like a balanced side, with enough international experience as well as domestic talent. The Indians, who will be led by the formidable Nadal, will also look to Sania Mirza, who is fresh from her Wimbedon victory, and the subtle, but strong Agniezka Radwanska. Gael Monfils will also look to make his presence felt in the tournament, as will Ivan Dodig.

Tickets from the International Premier Tennis League have already gone live! The Early Bird sections are all sold out, but fret not, there's still a few more tickets left! Don't miss this one, because it promises the match of a lifetime – Roger Federer vs Rafael Nadal! Be a part of all the action, at the International Premier Tennis League 2015!
