Federer falls to 5th spot in the ATP rankings

Roger Federer has fallen by two places to the 5th spot in the new ATP rankings which were released on Monday. Wimbledon champion Andy Murray remains 2nd on the list below Novak Djokovic. Quarter-finalist David Ferrer moved up to a career best of 3rd in the ATP rankings.

In the women’s rankings, Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli moved up seven spots from the 15th spot to the 8th spot. While Serena Williams remains at the top of the list despite early exit at Wimbledon.
