The Serbian press is reporting that Novak Djokovic is putting his brief break from tennis to good use. The Serbian, who headed home after his loss to Rafael Nadal in the finals of the French Open, is expected to marry his fiance Jelena Ristic in a quiet private ceremony in Montenegro. Djokovic and Ristic had dated several years, before getting engaged in September last year.

It is believed that guests will include Janko Tipsarevic, Ana Ivanovic, Nenad Zimonjic, Jelena Jankovic, Maria Sharapova and Boris Becker among other close friends and family of the Serbian superstar and his wife to be. Ristic is currently pregnant and expect a child, perhaps early next year. It is also believed that Andy Murray, who made an untimely exit from the Aegon Championships will fly out to Montenegro to be the best man.

Djokovic was pictured earlier this week in Ibiza chilling on the coast to let the steam off, after his disappointing loss to Nadal in the final last Sunday. However the news was yet to be confirmed by Djokovic through an official statement or through his twitter handle. The world No.2 is taking time off ahead of his arrival in London for Wimbledon, perhaps later next week.

It is likely that Wimbledon will seed Djokovic ahead of Nadal based on the formula used to calculate the seedings at the All England Championships. Nadal suffered a shock defeat to Dustin Brown at Halle yesterday, slumping to a fourth loss in six matches on the surface.
