Novak Djokovic marched his way into the fourth round of the French Open

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic marched his way into the fourth round of the 2015 French Open on Saturday after defeating Thansi Kokkinakis of Australia 6-4 6-4 6-4 in the third round. The 8-time Grand Slam champion, who suffered a groin issue injury in his previous match, showed no signs of any effects from that blow, dismissing his opponent in the very first match point that he gained in the match.

The young Australian though had his own moments during the course of the match, but Djokovic, looking to win his first title at Roland Garros proved to be too good for him in the end.

With this win, the Serbian took his winning run to 25 matches and moved into the last-16 of the French Open. The last match Djokovic lost was back in February when Roger Federer got the better of the World No. 1 in the final in Dubai.

The 28-year old is on course for his first French Open title. If he manages to win at Roland Garros, he will join 7 other men who have completed the career Grand Slam – Federer, Rafael Nadal, Rod Laver, Andre Agassi, Don Budge, Fred Perry and Roy Emerson.
