Spanish woman tennis player Garbine Muguruza has said that the choice of Rafael Nadal as the bearer of the Spanish flag at the opening ceremony of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio is "fabulous" and expected that the veteran "must be thrilled" to have this opportunity.

At a press conference following the draw for women's singles in the Madrid Open, Muguruza on Friday recalled that due to injury, the 14-time Major champion Nadal could not be the standard bearer in London 2012, reports Efe.
