Nick Saviano and Eugenie Bouchard: A team no more.

Nick Saviano has ended his coaching relationship with World No 5 Eugenie Bouchard

"Genie and I have decided that it is best for us to end our player-coach relationship and to move in different directions for 2015," Saviano said in the statement. "Helping Genie grow from an ambitious 12-year-old to No. 5 in the world has been an exciting journey."

Eugenie Bouchard worked with Nick Saviano for eight years. She won 3 junior Wimbledon titles before turning professional. Under Saviano, Bouchard is now World No 5, 139 places up from where she had started.

Eugenie Bouchard has had a brilliant 2014. Under Saviano, Bouchard made the Wimbledon final and the semis at the Australian Open and the French Open. She also won her first WTA title in May further going on to reach the final at the Wuhan Open. She also bagged the 2013 Newcomer of the Year and then further went on to win WTA's Most Improved Player award last week.
