United Kingdom’s Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) have extended their partnership deal with French financial services group BNP Paribas for a length of four years.

The deal will see BNP Paribas remain as the sponsors of LTA and grass-court tournament Aegon Championships, which is seen as a warm up to Wimbledon.

“We’ve enjoyed five wonderful years with BNP Paribas and we’re delighted to announce today that our partnership will extend for a further four years. BNP Paribas’s credentials in tennis globally are without comparison and it is testament to the quality of the events that we stage that they continue to see the LTA as an integral part of an impressive tennis portfolio,” said LTA commercial director Lawrence Robertson.

The partnership has been alive from 2008 and will now extend up to 2018. BNP Paribas is an active partner in the tennis world with the company being one of the major sponsors of the French Open.
