APF win Nepal National women's volleyball title

Armed Police Force (APF) Club defeated Nepal Police Club (MPC) to lift the title at the 18th Nepal Women’s National Volleyball Championship. APF CLUB took home the title with a straight set win taking the sets 25 – 9, 25 – 20 and 25 – 10 respectively.

Sawaswoti Chowdhary of APF Club was declared the best player of the championship.

Meanwhile Western Region defeated Central Region 25 – 12, 25 – 22 and 25 – 16 to claim third spot in the championship.

Following are the individual prize winners:

• Best Player of the tournament: Sawaswoti Chowdhary (APF)
• Best Spiker: Nima Shrestha (APF)
• Best Setter: Binita Budhathoki (APF)
• Best Blocker: Kopila Upreti (NPC)
• Best Quicker: Saraswoti Chowdhari (APF)
• Best Defense: Kamala Pun (Nepal Police)
• Best Server: Aruna Shahi (Western Region)

Officials from National Sports Council and Nepal Volleyball Association gave away the prizes to the winners.
