Bishkek - The Chinese junior weightlifting team won 10 medals at the Asian Championship which concluded here.

During the championship which started last Friday, China accumulated four gold, four silver and two bronze medals.

The Chinese girls won a total of three gold and two silver medals, finishing second in their team event, next only to India.

Their men compatriots had one gold, two silver and two bronze medals for an eighth place finish in the team event, which was won by Kyrgyzstan.

The championship featured 14 teams including hosts Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, China, Japan, Tajikistan, India and other Asian countries or regions.
