5 awesome things Seth Rollins absolutely must do in his WWE return

The second coming

The WWE pulled the hood over the WWE Universe’s eyes and sent them into a daze by unleashing Seth Rollins on the unsuspecting masses. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion who never lost his belt, pedigree and all, hoisted what was a balmy PPV until then to a box office smash.

Shane McMahon braved the mic one more time and didn’t waste a moment in setting up a match at MITB for the big belt between the two erstwhile brothers in arms. Like a legendary martyr, Rollins has strode forth to claim the throne, knowing full well that it’s going to end in flames, jobbing to Roman Reigns.

But stranger things have been known to happen, despite prophecies existing to the contrary in the WWE. Should we be foolish enough to hope?

  1. Double turn

Make way for Roman, Neville

It’s pretty evident that Reigns will remain champion at MITB. The only thing that can transform the feeding tube of the WWE to Captain America is a heel turn. It is heard that Vince McMahon’s patience is wearing thin of waiting for Roman to be accepted as ‘the guy’ and the only thing standing in the way is Triple H.

Roman needs to put a little more effort into being an elitist snob who does what he wants without a thought. When he finally does lose the championship, Seth needs to go ape on him with a steel chair or such, trading places with the true-and-tested double turn. With the right twists, this could carry the WWE right upto next year’s WrestleMania.

4. Shield vs Bullet Club

Our guess is sometime before Battleground

This might be hoping for too much, but one man who is at this moment, the man WWE want Roman Reigns to be, is Brock Lesnar. The Beast is an admitted misanthrope and winning the belt before dropping it to Reigns is one way of putting him over that people would bet on. Vince might be putting a couple of more zeroes on his cheques, but that’s for another day.

Fans’ tastes have changed – they like their knights in grimy, bloodstained armour. With Styles set to feud with The Club most likely headed by Finn Balor, he will need someone to have his back, regardless of how phenomenal he is.

Rollins and Orton would make the fans go crazy over this feud. The Shield was never a one-man show. All three shared the spotlight equally. This war could give Creative some breathing space for the World Heavyweight Championship picture. What stops a bullet? A shield.

      1. Shane vs Stephanie

      To a new level

So the brand split’s official. No big announcement or anything, just using the momentum from Extreme Rules to lift the ship higher. But the game of one- upmanship is still afoot. SmackDown’s going to get its own roster, but what about the titles? Splitting them would pinch some of its credibility.

Roman could trade places with the old Seth and be a protected champion on RAW, with Seth being conspired against to stay on SmackDown. Shane could finally bring about his title shot via a Rocky-like effort through a tournament, and it could become a case of a power struggle for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This is another way to bring about the double turn.

      1. MITB lunacy

      Long time no see!

Dean wins the briefcase. Triple threat for the gold. Add anything you like.

      1. Seth goes rogue

      In 3....2....1

A leopard doesn’t change its spots. Seth turned on his brethren, he’s turned on his fans and he should do it against his godfather, Triple H, but only after winning the belt. What he needs in this scenario are some cohorts, certainly some fresh faces – a giant and a sadist.

The WWE performance center has received a fresh batch of hopefuls, with a couple of redwoods amongst them. They could even poach guys like Broadus Clay and bump someone like Samoa Joe up the order.

Roman Reigns comes to the Game’s rescue, because there’s not much sense in Triple H trying to pull heat, especially as a part-timer.
