5 feuds for WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns

Who will “The Guy” face next?

Roman Reigns has just started his third WWE Championship run and he has just run into his first challenger. AJ Styles is a pleasantly surprising choice to be Reigns' opponent, with the WWE dispensing with their policy of taking ages to recognise the talents of independent wrestlers coming over to their promotion.

While it may be a stretch to see Styles going over the newly anointed crown prince, Reigns can look ahead to a number of new challengers for his title as well.

1). Bray Wyatt

Will “The Eater of Worlds” arrive to the main event scene

Bray Wyatt seems to have just started a face turn with the Wyatt family locking horns with the League of Nations. However,it seems highly plausible that Wyatt might return to his heel persona considering the fact that the cult leader gimmick might not lead to a sustained baby face run.

However, Bray has a lot of fans and with Reigns assuming a tweener persona, a Bray vs Reigns title feud might not be much of a stretch. They have had pretty entertaining matches before and it is high time Bray arrived on the world title scene.

2). Kevin Owens

Will Owens get the golden opportunity?

Sure, Owens is a heel; but he is also the most entertaining act in the company. It is a crime that Owens has not been in the world title picture yet and WWE might be killing the golden goose by stuffing him in mid-card matches.

His feud with Sami Zayn is an intriguing one, but once that is done and dusted, Owens might be a shoe-in for a world title opportunity against Reigns, especially since Seth Rollins might take some time to recover.

3). John Cena

The Cenation leader would want to even the Nature Boy’s record

John Cena is WWE’s Superman and Cena is going to battle Reigns in the near future. Period!!

Many fans might grimace at the thought of Cena coming back to the main event, but he is a grizzled veteran who can put Reigns over. Reigns’ victory over Cena would be a true passing of the torch moment and might make his stint more believable.

4). Dean Ambrose

Brother vs Brother

Another certain name to feud with Reigns is his former Shield teammate Dean Ambrose.

Ambrose might be the ideal prey for Reigns to kick start his heel turn or they might engage in a face vs face feud which might threaten to expose Reigns to more boos. Whatever be the case, the former Shield mates fighting is an opportunity too good for the WWE to pass.

Ambrose might not be one to get over; the crowd might not like it – But that ‘s the way the bell tolls!!

5. Randy Orton

Will ‘The Viper’ strike?

Randy Orton is another Superstar who is on the shelf and he would be another main event star required to put Reigns over.

Battling and surviving a face Orton would be a challenge and Reigns can add another feather to his cap if he can make it believable. They did have battles while Orton was the heel, but a matchup in the current scenario would be a fresh new prospect and would definitely make the show better.

Reigns needs a long title reign with meaningful feuds and victories over the likes of Cena and Orton would add to his legitimacy.
