5 WWE Superstars that have been booked badly after WrestleMania 32

Shane and Stephanie McMahon should shake things up

WrestleMania 32 has broken so many records and the WWE team is more than elated about it. The show was a success but the immediate aftermath has been great as well. Shane has taken the show to a new level and the fans have once again started loving the WWE.

However, not everything is back to normal.

There are a few issues that need to be resolved especially connected to the talent management. There are some guys on the roster who are highly talented and who also had their WrestleMania moments this year. But still they received nothing significant once the mega event ended. We are already done with two PPVs after the biggie and are on the road for the third PPV after Mania. Now, with all of this said, let us have a look at 5 guys who were used in the worst possible way by WWE after WrestleMania 32.

Baron Corbin

The cursed trophy?

I am not sure if this is a curse or what! Whoever wins the 'Andre the Giant' memorial Battle Royal, seem destined to lose momentum. This happened with Cesaro in 2014, Big Show in 2015 and Baron Corbin in 2016.

Corbin made a grand WrestleMania debut and won the trophy but all of it has been in vain. The trophy is the only significant thing that he ever got in the company. He later got involved in some useless bouts with Dolph Ziggler, none bearing fruit.

Kalisto

The ‘Lucha’ effect has wore off

The US Championship match at WrestleMania 32 was part of the pre-show. This itself explains how poorly the WWE team projected Kalisto as the champion. Have a look at how Kalisto won the title. John Cena lost it to Alberto Del Rio at 'Hell in a Cell' and Del Rio later lost it to Kalisto. Del Rio's loss to this little Mexican gave a lot of momentum to Kalisto but he has failed to capitalize on it.

Remember the days when Cena held the US title? At least now, the company has recognized that the US Title picture requires change and has made way for Rusev to take over the Championship!

Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch

Talent wasted?

The triple threat match for the Divas title at WrestleMania 32 was a blockbuster, to say the least. Everyone expected 'The Boss' to win the match but Charlotte retained the title thrashing all the speculations.

Since Mania, Charlotte has defended her title twice at PPVs both against Natalya who was only a part of the WM pre-show. Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch have lost all their momentum now and I don't think many expected this to happen. The divas division is rich in talent but depleted in terms of producing quality matches.

Sasha Banks desperately needs to regain her lost momentum.

Zack Ryder

A WrestleMania moment followed by a steep fall from grace

One of the biggest twists from WrestleMania 32 was Zack Ryder winning the IC title in a ladder match. Things turned even more shocking when Ryder lost the title the very next night to Miz on RAW. This in itself shows that Ryder’s Wrestlemania triumph was little more than a headline grabbing stunt by the company.

Today, you don't even see this broski's name featured in any top matches. Ryder might have felt that he got a WrestleMania moment in his career but he would have now realized that moment at WM 32 in fact was a career changing moment. Ryder once again went into the darkness which he has been very familiar with for the last 4 years.

Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio

The League of Nations was a failed experiment

Don't get me wrong when I bring out the names of these two superstars at the top of the list. I know these two have been largely boring but both Del Rio and Sheamus are former WWE World Heavyweight Champions brother! They have immense potential but surprisingly the company has found nothing purposeful for both of them since WM 32.

Yet another superstar who was affected by the same angle was Rusev, but thankfully now things seem brighter for him having defeated Kalisto at Extreme Rules and becoming the new US Champion.

And now that the brand split is officially on the cards, we may expect these guys to migrate to the SmackDown roster and start doing something more interesting there.
