5 WWE wrestlers who need to come back

And no, we are not talking about “The Rock”

We all know that WWE is not having the best of times for a couple of years. They have tried several things in the last few years but still have not managed to get the fan’s attention. The crowd reaction speaks for it.

The current face of the WWE (John Cena) and the expected future face of the WWE (Roman Reigns) are mostly welcomed with boos while the heel wrestlers like Bray Wyatt, Chris Jericho, Kewin Ovens are receiving pops. This has certainly left WWE to do a lot.

Here we check out 5 wrestlers who need to comeback to get WWE back on top again.

C.M Punk

The Best in the World can surely stir things up

We all know that nothing has gone right between the WWE and C.M Punk from the last few years and getting him back would probably hurt Vince’s ego. But we all know how good a wrestler C.M Punk is and on top it, he is also a crowd favorite.

We have heard the “C.M Punk” chants so many times after he left WWE that we really wish he could make a comeback out of no where. He is a main event wrestler and probably one of best speakers in WWE, both of which WWE has been missing badly.

He can make a comeback and straight away fall in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship scenerio, he could also feud with Cena or Ambrose. C.M Punk is one of the only few wrestlers who has been the crowd favorite even after turning heel. His comeback will surely lift the WWE.

Lashley

Lashley vs Lesnar will be interesting to watch

We have seen Lashley wrestling in TNA recently and we really feel that this is the guy that WWE wants. Lashley had a decent career with WWE, his most noted feud was with Vince McMahon and Umaga. We still remember Vince being bald at WM23, this is one of the most popular WM moments and Lashley was the reason behind it.

Lashley was also a crowd favorite and most importantly, he was someone who could have destroyed anyone on his day. The sheer power of this man was impeccable. Currently, there are not many wrestlers in WWE who can stand in front of Brock Lesnar in that ring but Lashley is someone who can stand against him and even defeat him. What a mouth watering contest it would be with two of the biggest powerhouses exploding against each other.

Jeff Hardy

The charismatic Jeff Hardy will make WWE more interesting to watch

We have been talking about crowd favorite and this guy needs no introduction. He is one of the most popular and loved wrestler ever. He may not be the power house like Lashley, neither is he the main event star but he is someone who can lit up any feud, any storyline at any given night.

He is at the end of this career and most probably he would like to end it with WWE. He may not have age on his side but boy, he is still very energetic and could easily get the mid-cards wrestlers the push and the lime-light they really need at this point of time. He is tough, fearless and that is why we all love him. He is the most likely wrestler in this list to return to WWE.

Stone Cold

The Rattlesnake can shake the WWE universe out of its sleep

Yes, you read it right, it is indeed Stone Cold. We saw him in WM32 recently and we all know the reaction he got from the crowd. He may not be very fit as a wrestler now, but WWE can bring him back as a General Manager, someone who would fight with the Authority to get back the power. We have seen him managing Raw in the Attitude Era and guys, did he disappoint??? Not at all.

He can surely light up Raw and that would generate a lot of buzz amongst the WWE fans. The WWE that sounded boring would suddenly appear exciting. He can get the hardcore matches back, could make some exciting decisions and that would be a treat for the fans.

Goldberg

Who’s Next?

We have been hearing this name for the last 5 years or so in the WM spoiler list but he never appeared. Yet, we still get excited hearing these spoilers. That was the nature of that guy. He was a beast, a legend and would fight anyone who came in his way. The “Who’s Next” chant is still one of the most popular chants in WWE. He had a long unbeaten streak (173-0 to be precise). Could you believe that???

I mean there are so many wrestlers who have hardly wrestled 150 matches and there is this guy who won 173 matches without losing a single one. It would have been unbelievable, have not it been done by Goldberg. WWE has been trying to get a contract with him but have not been successful yet in doing so, but we all except him to get that one last run in the WWE.

Even if he enters the WWE, the major question will be that who will face him, because you need to have a great wrestler who can actually look like defeating Goldberg which is quite difficult. Probably, Brock Lesner or Triple H can feud with him noticing the previous storylines they had. We can not predict much but his return would surely get lots of WWE fans that it has lost in the last few years.
