If you are one of the fans who got disappointed by this year’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view main event last sunday, then this news might dishearten you a little more. Many stars who were well prepared and all set for their entry at the big event were not allowed by the authorities. Many big names including Sean “X-Pac”, Chris Jericho and Nikolai Volkoff (mentioned by Triple H during a segment) were backstage at the main event. Although some say Sean’s case could be a rumour.
WWE officals thought of some stars whom they had no intentions of including into this year’s Royal Rumble, which would get leaked as being intentionally held ‘backstage’ online through social media. Although the WWE definitely had one or two names backstage, it seems like they just wanted to swerve the internet. Alex Riley was one among the several stars who was finalized for the Rumble but was discarded later.
All the plans were changed during the pay per view. This recent dispute has rendered some stars enraged.
