In news that could come as a shocker to many, former WWE Divas Champion Brie Bella has taken the decision to leave the WWE, according to Dave Meltzer on the recent Wrestling Observer Radio.
Brie took the reported move prior to Daniel Bryan announcing his retirement on Monday Night RAW and her Fastlane match could very well be her last. Ther is no update on when exactly her final day would be, but her Divas title match against Charlotte could be the last time Brie Mode is in all its glory.
If Brie does quit, it wouldn't come as a major surprise because the Diva has been vocal about quitting wrestling and focusing on having kids with her husband Daniel Bryan on Total Divas. With Bryan ending his active in-ring career, Brie felt the time was ripe to call quits on wrestling and divert her attention solely on building a family with Bryan.
While Fastlane could be her last outing in the WWE ring, WWE could have her stick around until WrestleMania and hang up her boots after the show in Dallas. Having her fight for the title would be an apt send-off – that is if reports turn out to be true – in a fairly decent career overall.
