Five NXT call ups that should happen by the WWE Draft

July will be an interesting month for the NXT Superstars

With the Draft just weeks away, the talk of NXT call ups is getting louder and louder. Rumors are running wild as to who could end up on either Raw or SmackDown next month. The roster being split in half leaves room for some NXT familiar faces to come in and make their mark on the main roster. The possibilities are pretty appealing when you start thinking about them.

While we are not sure who is coming up and going where, by the time the draft lottery hits, many rumors will be put to rest. The fire of the hot rumors may possibly die out with the announcement. Or, they will continue to be red hot after the Draft has long passed. One thing is for sure - we will find out in three weeks time who is going to get called up and who will stay in NXT for a little while longer. So, who are the top prospects?

The Revival could be plowing through the main roster soon

5. The Revival

Dash and Dawson are tearing up the tag division in NXT. They’re making some serious waves, especially as two-time NXT Tag Team Champions. WWE will need some tag teams to fill the rosters so The Revival would be a perfect addition.

We have other tag teams that can make their appearances as well (American Alpha to be exact), but as far as impact, this team would have the most going to the main roster. You can’t have too many brawlers on the main roster, and that’s what’s very appealing about this team.

WWE can’t go wrong drafting the Submission Specialist

4. Samoa Joe

Joe is one of many big NXT stars who could very well be drafted come the brand extension. The current NXT Champion would no doubt be a great addition to either roster should he get drafted in July.

Joe’s experience and veteran status in pro wrestling can only help either Raw or SmackDown. The Samoan Submission Specialist is a menacing, dangerous player that can have some great feuds upon making it onto the main roster. There won’t be complaints about this one.

The King of Strong Style belongs on the main stage

3. Shinsuke Nakamura

Pro wrestling’s #1 pro wrestler absolutely belongs on the main roster. This would be one of the NXT Superstars that I would be shocked to see stay in NXT after the Draft lottery. Nakamura is head and shoulders above much of the talent, and it would be an injustice if he doesn’t make it on the main roster next month.

But, if he does come to Raw or Smackdown, I wouldn’t mind seeing another classic between him and AJ Styles, amongst others. Nakamura looks like a rock star, and having him as a main roster addition would no doubt turn sports entertainment up a notch.

Will we finally see the long-awaited debut of The Demon?

2. Finn Balor

For months now, fans have been predicting and speculating on when The Demon will make a main roster appearance. Rumors of Balor have been white hot since the debuts of AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

All four men have ties from Japan as part of the Bullet Club, and fans would love nothing more but to see this come to fruition on the WWE main stage. Balor’s entrance is one of the best entrances of all time, I absolutely can’t wait to see this and see him tear it up on the main roster. If his debut happens, it will happen during the draft lottery.

The WWE Women’s Division would get a whole lot brighter with this pick

1. Bayley

The top pick for an addition for the WWE Women’s Division is none other than Bayley. This is another star fans have been speculating on when she will make her debut onto the main roster.

As part of the Four Horsewomen, Bayley’s absence from the main roster remains a head scratcher. Once she does make it onto the main roster, the casual WWE audience will hopefully get to see some of the magic she and the other ladies have created in NXT.

Bayley appeals to kids, particularly younger girls. Her addition to the main roster will make her super over with the little ones for sure. Bayley would be perfect for WWE’s “Be a Star” campaign, amongst other PR roles.
