HBK talks Rollins & more, Lesnar reveals not liking people on podcast

HBK believes in Rollins over Kane

- As seen on last night’s RAW, ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels was in the house and on the show, was involved in an in-ring segment with Seth Rollins. The appearance of HBK was due to RAW being in the state of Texas, where Michaels resides.

Following his night, he was interviewed backstage exclusively for WWE.com, where he spoke about being brought back by the WWE and even joked about being overworked and that being the reason why he doesn’t like to come back too often. In the interview, HBK also offered praise for Rollins and others, while predicting the matches scheduled for Hell in a Cell.

Michaels chose Rollins over Kane, saying Rollins is ‘very talented’ and has less mileage on his body when compared to Kane. When asked about the Divas championship match between Charlotte and Nikki Bella, HBK chose Charlotte saying that she is more ‘hungry’. For the match between Bray Wyatt vs Chris Jericho, HBK termed Wyatt as this generation’s Undertaker and picked him over Reigns.

For the main-event match between The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar, Michaels chose his old nemesis The Undertaker to win. For his part, HBK has competed in multiple Hell in a Cell matches against opponents including the likes of Triple H, The Undertaker etc. In fact, he competed in the very first Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker back in 1997.

- Brock Lesnar is known to not be a ‘people’ person and the stories surrounding the behavior pointing to the same is very famous among the ones who have followed his career closely.

Lesnar’s first run with the WWE was cut short due to the same reason, as he wasn’t comfortable being around that many people all the time and being on the road for long. His good friend and onscreen ‘advocate’ Paul Heyman has alluded to the same many times during his promo interviews.

In the below video, taken from his latest appearance on Stone Cold’s podcast, Lesnar talks about the same.
