After getting injured in an attack on the parking lot, Hideo Itami with his arm in a sling appeared yesterday at WWE NXT and he stated that he will be out for 3-4 months. Itami says that NXT is very popular in Japan and they are very excited to see Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor for the title on July 4th, while also confirming that he will be at the July 4th WWE Network special in Tokyo, Japan and will challenge the winner of Finn Balor vs. NXT Champion Kevin Owens.
Meanwhile, Eva Marie continues to prepare for her run in WWE NXT. She appeared on this week’s episode in a backstage segment with NXT General Manager William Regal, who said he needs some proof whether she is ready for the NXT Women’s Division.
Her first match back will be on the July 22nd episode, which tapes on July 16th and she responded by telling Regal that she will show him what he needs to see.
