Jeff Hardy entertains the possibility of winding down his career in the WWE

The Hardys are well known names in the WWE

In a recent interview with Ric Flair’s podcast Woooo! Nation, one half of the Hardy Boyz, Jeff Hardy, opened up about his injury, his time with TNA as well as the possibility of hanging up his wrestling boots with WWE – reports dailywrestlingnews.com.

On his knee injury, Jeff said: “I broke my leg April 28th on my dirt bike. At first I thought I broke both legs because it felt so intense, but luckily it was just my right leg. Now the problem is after four to five months of dealing with that, my knee was swollen for so long.”

The wrestler also went on to say that he plans to wrestle with the excellent brace that was provided to him, while also acknowledging that he would have to alter his style of wrestling, with a clean bill of health only set to come in six to nine months.

When asked about his status with TNA, Hardy stated that this would be his last year with the franchise, after which he’ll sort out his options. Hardy revealed that he would shoot some tapings, after which he’ll decide whether he wants to go under the knife for his injury or not.

Coming to the topic of his in ring commitments, Hardy stated that despite his injury he loves his job too much, while also claiming that he wanted to put his brace to the test, confirming that he would probably miss out most of 2016.

On the possibility of returning to WWE, Jeff said: “I think there’s a huge possibility down the road. I’m not sure when, but I think Matt and myself would love to end our careers in the WWE, and it would be super great to be able to have a few more good ones with the Dudley Boyz.” The wrestler also cautiously stated that no plans were concrete unless his knee was back to its best.

Even though he’s had a distinguished career, Jeff still has a couple of wishes, some of which are an appearance in Hell in a Cell as well as top billing in WrestleMania, both of which he has never done before. That aside, Jeff said he’s done everything that was to be done and hopes to make a full and speedy recovery from his knee injury.
