John Cena appears after Smackdown TV tapings goes off the air

John Cena made his appearance on the WWE Smackdown TV tapings after the show went off the air as he was advertised to.

The former WWE World Heavyweight champion made his way into the ring as he walked past Roman Reigns, who defeated The Miz in the main event of the night, without any acknowledgement.

Cena grabbed the microphone and said that although he wasn’t cleared by the doctors to wrestle, he just wanted to be in Phoenix and say hello.

But his segment was interrupted as The Wyatt Family came out and surrounded him in the ring but not before they traded words. Outnumbered and still beaten up from his match against Brock Lesnar, it looked as if Cena was about to receive another beat down.

But Reigns came to his rescue and together they warded off the Wyatts. Bray escaped while Luke Harper and Erick Rowan received an Attitude Adjustment and Spear.

Cena and Reigns celebrated and left to close the taping.
