Video: John Cena's post-RAW emotional speech praising Cesaro

John Cena and Cesaro competed in the main event match for the US title

As we mentioned earlier, John Cena delivered a powerful yet moving promo after Monday Night RAW went off the air in Chicago. The United States champion brought Cesaro out and heaped praises on the Swiss Superman which was said to be an “emotionally charged” speech.

Below is the video of Cena addressing the crowd in Chicago. Cena reminds everyone that how grateful he is for the fans that have supported him all these years and takes a walk down the memory lane by remembering his first ever match at the AllState Arena back in 2002. Cena credits the crowd as the force that drove him that extra mile and thanked them for cheering him back then.

Cena then related his story to that of Cesaro’s and labelled him as an amazing athlete in the ring. The former WWE World champion stated how Cesaro has been performing and fighting for years but never has received the right opening in the business. He pointed out that the crowd has been talking about him for two straight weeks and how he has been in the limelight even after Lesnar destroyed J&J security’s Cadillac.

That got the crowd to chant Cesaro’s name and Cena then called him to get into the ring. Cena called Chicago the rowdiest fans on the planet and told Cesaro to give each and every moment of his life in this ring and the crowd will repay him. He tells him to feel this moment, to soak in the atmosphere and keep on delivering for these people and they will push you so that he can obtain the right opportunity one day.

Cena concluded by stating that Cesaro has given him one more memorable moment in the greatest wrestling city on the planet. Cesaro posed as the crowd chanted his name before he thanked Cena and exited the ring.
