John Cena to get away from WWE?, Daniel Bryan, The Rock signs with Ford

Cena taking time off from WWE?

- From what can be seen, John Cena isn’t advertised for the post-Hell in a Cell RAW from San Diego or even the RAW from Denver on November 2nd. In what appears to be time away for the US champ, Cena is also not booked for WWE live events the weekend of October 31st as well.

Although, he has been advertised for the WWE European tour that begins November 4, he isn’t booked for the November 16th & 23rd RAW. Cena, who has been the ‘road warrior’ for WWE since his debut in the early 2000s’, isn’t known to take a lot of time away from the WWE schedule, but this may just be the much-needed break for the 15-time World champion.

All is not gloomy though as the Innovator of the ‘Yes! Movement’ Daniel Bryan is advertised for a few European live events in November. That has to be heartening news for the fans of Bryan who has been off WWE programming for a while now, since he got injured soon after Wrestlemania.

Update: John Cena has been pulled from the 10-day European tour and will be off WWE live events through December. With no confirmation of a return timeline, all one knows is that Cena is taking time off for personal reasons.

- The Rock had teased a big announcement the other day on social media and many wondered as to who or what it pertained to. The answer was The Rock signing on for new “The Specialists at Ford” campaign.

The following was issued yesterday:

Dwayne Johnson Accepts Leading Role with Ford Service

DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 1, 2015 – Ford announced today its new advertising campaign for Ford service, “The Specialists at Ford” – featuring big-screen action hero, producer and business entrepreneur Dwayne Johnson.

“The Specialists at Ford” are an elite crew of Ford technicians led by Johnson. This dedicated team has all of the training, diagnostic tools and Motorcraft parts that make servicing your vehicle at your local Ford dealership the right decision.

In addition to Johnson’s on-screen presence and producing success, he is a longtime Ford fan, owning three Ford vehicles – his favorite being F-150. His genuine appreciation of the brand makes the alignment of Ford service and Dwayne Johnson a great partnership.

Television ads will begin running Monday, Oct. 12, followed by radio, digital and social spots. The multiyear deal will feature a continuous stream of new content being developed – with Dwayne Johnson and “The Specialists” keeping the campaign fresh and exciting.
