Major confirmation of AJ Styles being WWE-bound, top star's huge teaser

A Phenomenal Rumble in store?

After weeks of heightened anticipation surrounding AJ Styles being on his way to the WWE, latest updates pretty much confirms the on-going reports.

It has now been confirmed, according to reports from PWInsider, that AJ Styles would be backstage at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view this Sunday in Orlando, Florida. This, though, doesn’t confirm the possibility of him being an entrant in the 30-man Royal Rumble match.

In supporting reports, AJ Styles has been booked for the RAW and Smackdown episodes after Royal Rumble in Miami. Whether he makes a live appearance on RAW or Smackdown depends on the Rumble plans for WWE’s latest addition.

In the midst of all this, the sidelined John Cena dropped a huge teaser on the former TNA Champion coming to the WWE. The Cenation leader posted this photo of AJ Styles on Instagram devoid of any captions:

AJ Styles’s final indie appearance for Ring of Honor would take place on Saturday in Duluth, GA. A farewell speech is expected from Styles, who would be thanking the ROH fans before he moves on to the greener pastures of the WWE.

Styles has not been advertised to wrestle at the show, and would be traveling from Georgia to Orlando to make it in time for Royal Rumble on Sunday. All of these developments serve as ample indicators of Styles being a WWE star this Sunday onwards.

Get ready folks, as the Phenomenal is on his way to the WWE.
