WWE News: 2 WWE Legends allegedly removed from WWE 2K17 roster

WWE 2k17 includes a “Hall Of Fame” Showcase mode.

WWE 2k17 was launched on 11th October 2016 after creating a huge buzz especially with the inclusion of Goldberg as a part of the pre-order bonus. The game boasts of a “Hall Of Fame” showcase mode, where players can recreate matches of Hall of Famers such as Sting, The Fabulous Freebirds, Jacqueline and The Big Boss Man.

Apparently, 2 WWE legends were said to be absent in the main roster as well as in the paid “DLC” packs. According to Power Up Gaming, recently inducted Hall Of Famer Stan Hansen was supposed to be a part of the Hall Of Fame Showcase DLC but was apparently left out at the last minute.

Another legend who failed to make the cut is Canadian Rick “The Model” Martel although his theme song “The Model” is included in WWE 2k17’s music credits. The match to be featured in the game’s Hall of Fame Showcase DLC was rumoured to be the one they had for the AWA Title in 1985 with Hansen picking up the championship victory.

Both names are also included in the WWE 2k17’s community creations mode, where players can share logos, grapplers and much more.

Their names are searchable in the superstar hashtag which further supports the fact that these legends were supposed to be a part of the game. You can have a glimpse of the WWE 2k17 community creations here;
