WWE News: Charlotte defeats Sasha Banks at Roadblock to become a 4-time Raw Women's Champion

The Woman. The Four-Time Champion

Charlotte’s undefeated PPV streak continued as she defeated Sasha Banks in the overtime of their 30-minute Iron-Man match to become a four-time Raw Women’s Champion, concluding their historic feud.

Charlotte scored the first fall 20 minutes in after hitting the Natural Selection on Sasha Banks from the top rope. Sasha got the next fall on Charlotte two minutes later after a roll-up pin.

Less than 3 minutes later, Sasha Banks dodged a moonsault and hit Charlotte with a Banks Statement to get the 2-1 score advantage.

Charlotte equalised the score with only two seconds to spare by getting Banks to tap out. This resulted in the referee asking the announcer to announce that the match would be going into a sudden death overtime.

Minutes into the overtime, Charlotte put Sasha Banks in a Figure-8 Leg Lock to make ‘The Boss’ tap and became a four-time Raw Women’s Champion. Towards the end, Sasha was bleeding from her nose as well.

Charlotte and Sasha Banks had started feuding with each other at the end of June 2016. Their feud has now finally concluded after five and a half months of constant back-and-forth action and title exchanges.

Charlotte’s next opponent is most likely going to be Bayley. Charlotte was rumoured to face Bayley at Roadblock: End Of The Line, but plans changed, perhaps to facilitate a proper ending to her feud with Banks. The match itself turned out to be an instant classic.
