Corey Graves, one of the voices of Raw and NXT will be pairing up with the voice of Smackdown Live Mauro Ranallo for 205 Live, the upcoming WWE Network program exclusively featuring the Cruiserweights.
The program will air right after Smackdown Live. The former NXT Tag Team Champion spoke about 205 Live and his expectations in an interview with USA Today For The Win:
”I am very excited for 205 Live because I think this is the platform the cruiserweights need. They are still new and there’s an unfamiliarity with the characters and the talent.
The Cruiserweight Classic on the WWE Network was hugely successful for the company. This works as a companion to the cruiserweights on Monday Night RAW and a chance to develop the characters and learn who these guys are and what they are about.”
Corey admitted that on Raw, there was no time fo flesh out characters with all the new cruiserweight talent. He remarked on the limited scope that the commentators had, for talking about the Cruiserweights. He went on to add that with 205 Live, the commentators would get to focus solely on the cruiserweights and who they really are as people.

The idea of 205 Live is to help recapture the magic of the Cruiserweight Classic, which turned out to be a huge hit. 205 Live premiers on November 29th after Smackdown Live
The Cruiserweight Division has a good chance of coming to Smackdown Live, as the blue brand’s Kalisto takes on Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick. As per the Survivor Series stipulation, if Kalisto wins, the entire Cruiserweight division will move to Smackdown Live. This will be a good chance to showcase and continue their story on 205 Live.
Jack Gallagher and Akira Tozawa have finished up their independent dates, and now that their visas are sorted, they will be appearing very soon to play what looks to be a significant part of 205 Live. The three central stars of 205 Live appear to be T.J Perkins, Brian Kendrick, and Rich Swann.
