On WWE’s recent European tour, SmackDown Live superstar Dolph Ziggler spoke to Spanish wrestling website, Planeta Wrestling in Barcelona about his rating in the WWE 2K17 video game and characters from the game that he would want to have a dream match with.
Ziggler has an overall rating of 84 in the popular WWE-based game and he was asked how he felt about it. The superstar said that although he did not care about these things, he felt a bit disappointed about his rating because he counts himself among the top 3 wrestlers across the rosters of both brands.
“I don't care about stuff like that, but what a bummer, huh? But I'm a good wrestler, really good. Like if I had to put a short list of both rosters, I would put myself in the top three,” stated ‘The Showoff’.

He claimed that he would have been fine with being rated 84, provided the highest rating across the game was 85. When told that Brock Lesnar was on top with a rating of 94, Ziggler said that he would have been content if Lesnar had bettered him by just a point and that he would have to talk about it with the game developers. He said:
“As long as the highest number is 85 in the game, what is the highest number? (Brock Lesnar's 94). He can beat me by one, that makes sense. I'll bring it up to em, I got a lot of things to get off my chest about him. We'll talk about it”
The former 2-time World Heavyweight Champion was questioned about the characters from the game that he would want to wrestle in a dream match. He named Ultimate Warrior as one of them and revealed how he was lucky to meet the legendary wrestler once.
“There is so many characters in that game. The Ultimate Warrior is great. Intercontinental championship too? That'd be pretty cool. I would say, man Ultimate Warrior is pretty cool. I was very lucky enough to see him -- he's even a larger in life person and such a great guy. It was very cool to get to meet him for a second” .
However, according to Ziggler, the one person he really wished to compete against and defeat is Scott Steiner, also known as Big Poppa Pump. He claimed that it was the only way he could win back his father’s love and respect. Moreover, he is also a huge Steiner fan and would love to super kick him to pick up a victory.
Dolph Ziggler said:
“Ultimate Warrior is a good call, but I know I've said it before, Big Poppa Pump. I gotta get my dad's love and respect back, I need to beat Big Poppa Pump. I'm a big fan of his too so I'd love to hear those sirens go off and see him come out and flex. Super kick him and hopefully beat him.”
Ziggler had revealed in a previous interview that ‘Big Poppa Pump’ Scott Steiner was his father’s all-time favourite wrestler, with Dolph being #2 on the list.
