WWE News: Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar segment announced for next week's Raw

The face-off we’ve all been anticipating

Next week is the go-home show for Survivor Series for Raw and Smackdown. It is the first time in over half a decade that we will be seeing the inter-brand wars be settled in the ring. However, none of the 3 Survivor Series matches will be the main event. The main event of the show will be Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg.

After appearing in the ring on alternate weeks, and neither appearing on last night’s Raw, it was announced last night that Brock Lesnar and Goldberg will be meeting face to face next week. Since it is by far the most anticipated showdown, it is likely going to be the final segment of the night.

It will be interesting to see how they play out the face to face interaction. A possibility is to do one of those brawls similar to what Undertaker and Lesnar did last year at Summerslam, where the entire locker room and security came to separate the two.

Here is the video of the brawl from last year, which received a lot of praise from the fans:

Another aspect of the storyline is the fact that Goldberg speared Paul Heyman last week and sent him to the “hospital”. Don’t be surprised if Heyman appears tomorrow in a neck brace or crutches. That itself is all the reason for them to have a brawl.

However, WWE may be sceptical to do it after Goldberg slipped up against Rusev last week. Regardless, it is something to really look forward to. Lesnar already gave a preview of what he planned to do to his opponent.

Next week’s Raw will also feature Smackdown Live Commissioner and General Manager Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan. It is possible that they may bring some members of the Smackdown Live roster with them, perhaps the likes of AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose, among others.
