The dead man returned to WWE a couple of weeks ago on SmackDown Live and made an emphatic statement saying that Wrestlemania no longer defined him. This short line has a lot of in-depth implications and the WWE fans are already going wild, thinking of possible future bookings involving the phenom.
Despite the multitude of predictions, there are a couple of rumours that have been very popular ever since the dead man’s return - A WrestleMania match with John Cena and a Royal Rumble Championship match against AJ Styles.

Yesterday, it was reported by The Inquisitr that there is some uncertainty associated with this match, primarily due to John Cena.
An earlier report by Daily Wrestling News noted that there is some “friendly tension” going on between Cena and the company. It was reported that John feels that he is taken for granted and he believes that he deserves similar treatment as part-timers such as Brock Lesnar, Goldberg and The Rock.

Vince McMahon really wants to book the Undertaker-Cena match at Mania and has in fact wanted to do so for almost four years, dating back to WrestleMania 30.
However, things went differently- Cena competed against Bray Wyatt and Rusev at WrestleMania 30 and 31 respectively. He didn’t compete at WrestleMania 32. On the other hand, Taker lost to Lesnar at WM 30 and went on to defeat Bray Wyatt and Shane McMahon at WM 31 and 32 respectively.
The plan as of now is to book a match between AJ Styles and The Undertaker at Royal Rumble in which Taker emerges victorious. Later on, he would defend his title at WrestleMania 33 against John Cena, bringing in Cena’s 16th title win angle to the storyline.
However, as per the reports, it was mentioned that Vince has instructed the creative team to come up with alternatives for The Undertaker’s upcoming WrestleMania 33 match, in case the tensions with Cena worsen.
