WWE News: Mick Foley and Shawn Michaels to be inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame

One of the surreal WrestleMania moments
Mick Foley and Shawn Michaels all set to be inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame

The hardcore legend and current RAW General Manager, Mick Foley and Mr. WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels have added one more feather in their cap. These two WWE legends are all set to be officially inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame, Class of 2017.

Foley and Michaels have already been a part of the WWE Hall of Fame and this achievement would obviously glorify the careers a little more.

As reported by Still Real To Us, a committee of peers have cast their vote and elected the inductees. The interesting thing here is that this year’s polling had the most ballots ever to be counted.

The 16th edition of the induction ceremony is scheduled to happen on 20th May 2017 and this will take place at Wichita Falls, TX.

Mick Foley has been impressive in his role as the RAW GM and is working alongside Stephanie McMahon. He is expected to have a decent run in the WWE as the RAW GM, as things stand today.

Shawn Michaels, on the other hand, has been retired from wrestling and all in-ring action besides occasional appearances. It has been rumoured that he is going to be the next coach of NXT. A match between AJ Styles and him is also part of the rumour mills, but nothing is confirmed as of yet.
