- In updates from backstage, it is said that the idea to do Sting vs Seth Rollins at Night Of Champions for the WWE World Heavyweight title was decided just a few days prior to SummerSlam.
The whole idea actually was thought of a week before SummerSlam, but was confirmed only a few days before the biggest PPV of the summer.
- It has been revealed, how the WWE executed the appearance of Sting on RAW in the segment that involved the unveiling of the statue with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Seth Rollins.
As noted, the covered platform started from backstage itself and Sting was in there the whole time. The members of the crew bought the platform using a forklift and also had to shift a few lighting boards to make way at ringside.
The box was then raised and put into the ring with Sting being in there all the while.
