After his release from WWE, Ryan Reeves aka Ryback has started his own podcast titled ‘Conversation with the Big Guy’. Although it mainly features his work experience in WWE, the recent episode disclosed a bizarre Halloween experience of the ‘Human Wrecking Ball’.
During his WWE tenure, Ryback was once invited to a Halloween party hosted by the real life brothers, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas.
The only condition was for every guest to attend wearing a costume. In order to find something suitable, Reeves decided to visit a local Wal-Mart. Not to his surprise, it was packed with John Cena merchandise and costumes. Reeves had no other choice but to buy one for himself.
Although he couldn’t recollect most of the events of that night, Reeves remembers the moment when he was watching TV in Bray’s bedroom after taking what he believes were ‘mushrooms’ as his state of mind was altered and he had never felt that way before.
Wyatt was amused to witness Ryback, under the influence of mushrooms laughing without any reason. Moreover, on the same night, under the influence of mushrooms, Reeves confessed his love for Wyatt’s wife, which everyone seemed to have laughed off.
The former Intercontinental Champion affirmed that such kind of behaviour was an anomaly:
“What happened the rest of that night is so outside of how I normally am. I can’t explain.”
Till date, both of them cherish those incidents whenever they meet. Apart from the awkward party story, Reeves also praised the in-ring work of the two brothers. During this edition of the podcast, he stated :
“Bray was awesome. He just kind of came in there, and, like, you could just tell this guy was going to be a star, just his promos and there was just something. Him and Bo both.”
Ryback, Big Show and Kane were involved in an angle with the Wyatt Family earlier this year. That feud culminated with another ‘heel’ turn of the Big Guy. Within a few months, Ryback and the WWE ended up parting ways.
