WWE News: Sasha Banks on her career, Charlotte and Snoop Dogg

Sasha will face Charlotte for the Women’s Championship at Hell In A Cell

WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks appeared in an interview with Fox Sports to share thoughts on her upcoming match at Hell In A Cell, her opponent Charlotte, and her current career path in the WWE.

Sasha commented on being a trailblazer in the WWE. She revealed that it was her dream since she was ten years old, to be the greatest women’s wrestler of all time. She expressed relief at the fact that the women wrestlers were elevated from the status of Divas to Superstars.

She proclaimed that every time she stepped into the ring, she wanted to be better than Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins or Kevin Owens. As the Women’s Champion, there is a chip on her shoulder to lead the way with this Revolution that the female division is currently undergoing in the WWE.

Speaking about facing Charlotte at Hell In A Cell, Sasha confessed that stepping into the Cell was the most challenging thing that they could possibly do.

She admitted that she was surprised when she came to know of the booking. Sasha was adamant about proving critics wrong by making an impact inside Hell In A Cell. She also expressed gratitude towards the late great Dusty Rhodes who helped her to develop the ‘Boss’ gimmick.

She confessed that she had borrowed a large aspect of her character from her cousin Snoop Dogg. She recalled the ecstatic feeling at WrestleMania when she was accompanied to the ring by Snoop Dogg who had also remixed her entrance music for the grand event.

Lastly, Sasha also expressed glee at the new WWE 2K17 video games. She claimed that she was the best wrestler on the female roster and playing the game with her own character felt ‘magical’. She noticed the attention to detail by 2K on her entrance, ring gear, jewellery, glasses and said that she found it incredible.

She concluded by saying that although Charlotte, Asuka and herself were tied for the highest rating in the current crop of female wrestlers in the game, she couldn’t understand why anyone would pick someone other than ‘The Boss’ herself.
