WWE News: Scott Hall missing; update

Hall has had a tough time battling addictions

WWE Hall Of Famer Scott Hall was advertised to appear on Saturday for DREAMWAVE Wrestling’s event in La Salle, Illinois, But apparently, he never made it to the show. Following this, Jay Repsel, the CEO of the promotion expressed his concern over Twitter by asking for someone to check on Hall. Here is the tweet;

According to Repsel, Hall missed the flight for the event and did not return his texts or calls. Following this, Diamond Dallas Page took to Twitter to post about Hall’s current status, Here is his tweet:

Diamond Dallas Page has always been there for Hall and helped him turn his life around through his DDPYoga program. Scott Hall was dealing with issues concerning alcohol and substance abuse and had heavily declined physically prior to DDP’s life-changing intervention.

Hall was last active on Twitter on Thursday, November 2, where he requested fans to buy WWE’s DVD on him. You can check his last tweet right here,

Hall has always been a figure who has never shied away from controversy and that continues to this date. Last September, there were reports on Hall getting kicked out of a T.G.I Friday’s in Atlanta airport after he misbehaved with a waitress.

Hall apologised for the incident and also thanked the fans who were concerned about his state after his recent relapse. Hall was quoted during his interview with Sports Illustrated as saying:

“I’m not where I want to be, but I thank God I’m not where I used to be,” said Hall.

“It’s a slippery slope. I’ve fallen in the past, and I may fall again in the future, but I get up now. There were times in the past when I’d fall and I’d just stay there. Now, when I fall, I get up.”

Hall was scheduled to appear at the event alongside fellow wrestlers Shawn Micheals, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman.

In the end, only Micheals and Nash appeared for the event. Waltman did not appear for the event either due to undisclosed reasons. Waltman sent out an apology on Twitter and has also agreed to appear at a show for the promotion in December. Here is the tweet from Waltman:

Scott Hall has experienced a career resurgence after re-entering in the good books of WWE. He was recently inducted inro the Hall Of Fame and as mentioned, has a new DVD released.

Despite the many missteps Hall has taken, he is a legend of the wrestling business. We at Sportskeeda hope that the ‘Bad guy’ is alright and will keep this article updated with any new information concerning this issue.
