WWE News: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin reveals whether he will wrestle at Wrestlemania 32

Austin continues to deny Wrestlemania return rumours

Even though “Stone Cold” Steve Austin has continued to deny that he’s going to make his return to the ring at Wrestlemania 32, some WWE fans are still hoping that the “Texas Rattlesnake” is working the fans, and that, in reality, Austin is currently preparing for a return to the ring. But Austin is continuing to say that he isn’t planning on wrestling ever again. Austin recently had UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier on his podcast, The Steve Austin Show. Cormier, who is a huge WWE fan, spent a good deal of the podcast talking pro wrestling with Austin, and at one point during the interview, DC asked Stone Cold why he’s not going to wrestle at Wrestlemania 32 next year. Austin responded by saying that he’s not wrestling again because it would take too much time for a guy who has been out of the ring as long as he has to get back into ring shape.

"When people always ask me, “Hey, would you have one more match at WrestleMania 32?” – “No, I'm not, but I always tell people, here's the thing: I had a gutful - I had a good time, but what it would really take to perform at WrestleMania 32 for anybody who has been out of the ring, especially for as long as I have, you know, 12 or 13 years, you would have to go through a damn near full shoot MMA camp," Austin said.

“The Rattlesnake” who turns 51 this coming December, has been out of the ring since the spring of 2003 after he lost his retirement match to The Rock at Wrestlemania 19. At the time, Austin’s retirement was a surprise and felt a bit abrupt, which is why WWE fans want to see him get back into the ring one more time, so after the match they can give him the send-off that he deserves. In addition to covering many professional wrestling topics during the interview, Austin and Cormier talked at length about the world of MMA.
