WWE News: Update on huge T-Shirt sales of James Ellsworth

It is unbelievable that the man on the right is outselling the man on the left in terms of merchandise

James Ellsworth was an enhancement talent brought in on the first Raw after the draft, in order to help get Braun Strowman over.

However, his unique look and his catchphrase “Any man with two hands has a fighting chance!” helped get the chinless wonder more over than was expected, and he became a sensation among the internet wrestling community.

That and the fact that Vince McMahon took a personal liking to him contributed to him getting 4 more appearances in WWE since. Shortly before his WWE World Championship match against AJ Styles, WWE released a t-shirt of Ellsworth, perhaps not expecting too much of it.

However, since then, his t-shirt has consistently been among the top-5 selling. It has been selling more than the shirts featuring Roman Reigns, Goldberg, Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles, and many others. The t-shirt is also sold out in large sizes. Below is an image of the screenshot in the t-shirt section which is sorted by “best-selling”

Only Seth Rollins, John Cena, Enzo & Cass, and Kevin Owens are outselling Ellsworth!

It was reported over the course of the week that there has been a push to give Ellsworth a full-time contract. His merchandise sales have been one of the prime reasons for this. It will be interesting to see how long these figures manage to stay as high. If they do, then there is no doubt that the chinless wonder will be getting a full-time deal soon.

When asked on the Talk is Jericho podcast about what the future holds for him, Ellsworth said that he is going to just keep trying to get into WWE, and if that doesn’t work out, he will continue running his independent promotion.
