- RAW last night was short one big name and that was ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton. Michael Cole on announce team mentioned about Randy missing the WWE’s tour of Mexico, despite being advertised for it.
It was teased that the Wyatts may have attacked Orton, causing an injury, which caused his absence on the shows. Randy was set to team up with Dean Ambrose to take on the team of Braun Strowman and Luke Harper at this Sunday’s Hell in a Cell PPV, but following this development, it is unclear what is set to happen. It is also unclear as to whether Orton really is injured or of it is a storyline injury.
- Speaking of the Wyatts, Erick Rowan, who has been missing in action for a number of months, was back alongside the rest of the Wyatt family on RAW. He came out unannounced with the Wyatts in the leadup to the Roman Reigns – Bray Wyatt in-ring sitdown segment.
He was involved in the brawl at the end of the segment and teamed up with Braun Strowman & Bray Wyatt in the main event against Rollins, Ambrose & Reigns.
- Following WWE RAW last night, the card for the Hell in a Cell PPV this Sunday has come alive, with a couple of changes. As mentioned above, the tag team match pitting the team of Orton & Reigns vs Strowman & Harper is now off the card, as Orton is out of action with a purported injury.
Also, a new six-man tag match has been added to the card that will see the RAW rematch as the team of Dolph Ziggler, Neville & Cesaro take on Sheamus, Rusev & King Barrett. Below is the updated card:
