Possible title match on SmackDown, The Rock in major movie sequel, more

The Rock is rumored to feature in G.I.Joe 3

As noted, Sin Cara defeated current WWE Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett in a non-title match at last week’s SmackDown, and after the match, Barrett hit him back with the Bullhammer. Now, It has been reported that Sin Cara will face Barrett for the WWE Intercontinental Title on this Thursday’s SmackDown episode.

According to ComicBook.com, WWE Superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is set to return for upcoming action movie G.I.Joe 3, the sequel for last year’s G.I. Joe: Retaliation. He is said to reprise his role as Roadblock. DJ Caruso is said to be in talks to direct this movie which is being written by Jonathan Lemkin. No word yet on the other actors or when the filming will begin. As of now, it is reported that this movie will focus on the character of Roadblock, Rock’s character.

It is also rumored that the Rock will feature in the Transformers 5 movie.
