WWE Rumors: Rhyno may be leaving the WWE soon

Rhyno is a 2 time ECW World Champion

This Sunday, at the Smackdown exclusive TLC pay-per-view, the Smackdown Tag-Team Championship reign of Heath Slater and Rhyno came to an abrupt end courtesy of the new Wyatt Family. However, some rumours indicate that the title change is an indication that the former ECW World Champion Rhyno’s WWE stint is coming to an end.

Earlier, there had been plans which had suggested a lengthier title reign for Slater and Rhyno. They were, at the very least, expected to hold the gold heading into the new year. Although some fans believe that the title change was necessary to spice up the tag division on the blue brand, the change in such creative plans also points to Rhyno’s possible departure. Interestingly, he walked out on Slater on the recent episode of Talking Smack.

Four3Four.com reported that ‘The Gore Machine’ is expected to leave the company very soon. Apparently, Rhyno is disappointed with the way he has been booked. Four3Four also pointed out that backstage personnel had recently informed Rhyno that his "work ethic was lacking" and it cannot be accepted when he holds the Smackdown Tag-Team Championship.

The former WWE Hardcore Champion is also depressed to see the lack of interest by the WWE in supporting his political campaign. In fact, some fans believed that Rhyno had accepted the WWE deal to boost his political career.

Moreover, there have been speculations regarding a potential Heath Slater and Rhyno feud for the WrestleMania 33 season. If the rumours are true, then it depends entirely on The Man Beast on whether he decides to work that project and then leave the company.

Rhyno made his return to the main roster of WWE last year and was a part of the feud between the Wyatt Family and the Dudley Boyz. He also wrestled in NXT and contested for the NXT Championship. His confirmed his spot as a member of the blue brand after the brand split, by defeating Heath Slater on his Smackdown return.

Later on, he joined forces with the One Man Band to help him gain a Smackdown Live contract and the team went on to become the inaugural Smackdown Live Tag team Champions.
