Rusev suffers injury at SmackDown tapings, uncertain for Elimination Chamber

Rusev in doubt for Chamber match?

The WWE website confirmed that Rusev sustained an injury at the SmackDown tapings on Tuesday night. He is set to be assessed on the severity of the injury. The post also noted that an update will be provided, heading into Sunday’s Elimination Chamber PPV.

It is being said that Rusev will most likely be replaced by Bray Wyatt if he cannot make it to the PPV, for the scheduled Intercontinental match. The vacant Intercontinental title is set to be defended inside the Elimination Chamber structure between Barrett, R-Truth, Ziggler, Sheamus, Ryback & Rusev.
