Ryback comments on his injury, thanks WWE medical team

Ryback suffered a knee injury this week on Raw and won’t be competing this Sunday at WWE Battleground.

As reported earlier, WWE will have to change its plans for Sunday's Battleground event after Ryback suffered an injury that is going to prevent him from competing.

Ryback was slated to face Big Show and The Miz in a Triple Threat match for the Intercontinental Championship at the PPV. He's been in a bright spot on the roster recently, injecting some life into what once was one of WWE's most important titles. Hopefully the Big Guy won't be requiring a lengthy recovery span and can return in time for SummerSlam next month.
