Sheamus talks to fans about winning the title, Balor and Becky, WWE in India, Del Rio and future challenges

The new WWE World Heavyweight Champion

It was earlier noted that the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus, conducted a media conference call with the fans on Monday before RAW. Sheamus spoke on a wide spectrum of topics on this call and gave his opinions to many of the questions asked by the fans over the globe. Let us have a look at some of the topics that Sheamus touched upon-

The Irish taking over

Speaking on this, Sheamus told that Finn Balor has asked him if he should come to the WWE during his time with the New Japan Pro Wrestling. Sheamus told him that it would be a great move and he should do it without doubt.

Sheamus added that Balor has been doing a great job in NXT and it won’t be long before he makes his debut on the main roster and makes an impact. He also said that he trusts the capabilities of Becky Lynch and she would surely become a top diva in the company soon.

The Irish have started taking over WWE and it won’t be long before they dominate the roster, opined the ‘Celtic Warrior’.

WWE in India and his new look

He promised that WWE is sure to provide a great experience to the Indian fans as they will be touring India for a live event in January 2016. Sheamus said that he was currently the most handsome superstar on the roster and he was absolutely happy with his look.

He felt that his old look became stale as he held on to it for a fairly long time. Just for the sake of making a change, he doesn’t want to change it, at least not until his next turn in the WWE.

Winning the title and future Challenges

Sheamus told that winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship was the greatest achievement in his career and it is the future that matters but not the past. He adds that after his retirement, when he looks back at what he has attained in his career, he feels so proud about winning this title and that matters a lot.

Reacting to Del Rio being his future opponent, he says that Del Rio is a highly talented guy and a gifted WWE Superstar. He said that he has no issues facing anyone as of now.

Sheamus told that every title reign of his was special and each has its own significance. In WWE, it is important for one to be patient and wait for their opportunity. When the company really believes that you are potent and good enough, the company gives you chances and until then, one has to work hard and be patient.

He called the fans the most important thing and said as WWE World Champion, he will do everything possible to entertain and have fun at the same time.
