Status update on Stephanie - Rousey, plans by WWE creative

- After UFC President Dana White shot down the possibility of Ronda Rousey wrestling any matches for the WWE, the creative team is said to have gone into shock as they were banking on a potential huge angle involving the UFC womens’ bantamweight champion and on-air villainous character Stephanie McMahon for Wrestlemania 32.

There have been reports of the WWE even working on videos involving Ronda and Stephanie was slated to talk about Rousey in her WWE Network podcast with Chris Jericho on Thursday.

While the updates have all been negative on that front, the WWE hasn’t entirely given up on the Ronda Rousey deal as they feel there is time to figure it all out. The original plan was to have Ronda involved in some small way for later this year, but it is to be seen if that will work out.
