Is Sting retiring after Wrestlemania 31?

Sting on the Wrestlemania go-home episode of Raw

WWE superstar Sting was interviewed by The Associated Press this week where he briefly spoke about his match, promoting Wrestlemania 31. The former six-time WCW champion is all set to make his in-ring debut against Triple H at the grandest event of the year on Sunday, March 29, at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

While the article reported that the speculations regarding Sting vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania 32 could possibly be true, the Vigilante has commented otherwise on his post- Wrestlemania 31 plans.

“I’m feeling like this is probably going to be my last one. We’ll see how everyone reacts. If I’m asked to do one more at Survivor Series or maybe even WrestleMania next year, at this point, I would consider it. But realistically, this is going to be my last one,” said Sting.

It should be noted that initially, Sting had pushed for a Wrestlemania encounter with The Deadman when he arrived in the company, as he visioned it as his "big dream match." However, due to unknown reasons, WWE couldn’t go ahead with that plan.
