The Rock confirms he's a part of HBO's latest offering

While most of us had already heard the rumours about the Rock being a part of HBO’s upcoming series – Ballers; the WWE superstar himself confirmed the news on his Twitter early this morning.

Here’s what he said:

Ballers, a half-hour comedy produced by and starring Dwayne Johnson also includes Johnson’s Pain & Gain co-star Mark Wahlberg among its EPs.

The show centers on a group of former and current football stars (Johnson plays one of the retired players).

The cast also includes Omar Benson Miller (CSI: Miami), John David Washington (son of Denzel) and Rob Corddry (Childrens Hospital).
