The Rock says steroids had no effect on him

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, in an interview that covered his professional and personal life, talked about the years when he was depressed following numerous set-backs, also talking about the controversial issue of steroid use.

The ‘Brahma Bull’ has stated that he experimented with steroids only once, when he was in college. The Rock goes on to state that, he quickly stopped using steroids when he saw first-hand that they had no effect.

When Dwayne Johnson was 18, he had won a full football scholarship to the University of Miami and was ecstatic when he was the only freshman chosen to play. The Rock who was in love with the game, tried steroids to boost his performance, but says they had absolutely no effect.

“I tried them when I was 18, me and my football buddies. Nothing happened.”
