WWE News: Titus O'Neil to receive an award this week

Titus O’Neil is set to make a return to WWE this week

WWE Superstar Titus O’Neil, who has been out of action for over two months, is set to be honoured at the Fathers Incorporated Spirit Awards Gala and Fundraiser on April 28th at Turner Field in Atlanta alongside fellow celebrity Malik Yoba among others – reports wrestlinginc.com.

This isn’t the first father related award O’Neil has been nominated for, with the wrestler among the nominees for the MEGA Dad Awards 2015 "Celebrity Dad of the Year" and was announced the winner on May 28th.

An award would serve as a welcome relief to O’Neil, who is set to resume his WWE career after a 60 day suspension on charges of improper conduct.

The 38-year-old was suspended after an alteration with WWE CEO Vince McMahon at Daniel Bryan’s retirement ceremony in February. with the suspension originally set for 90 days but was reduced to 60 days by the franchise.

The alteration, which O’Neil described as playful and physical, could have very well ended WWE career, with his good friend Dave Bautista aka Batista, who pulled strings for him to get into the company, even advising him to quit, but it now seems that everything is forgiven and forgotten.
