Top 5 WWE RAW theme songs

Here we will take a look at the top 5 wwe raw theme songs.

The longest weekly running show in the history of television, RAW has been one of the main reason behind the success of WWE today. Raw over the 19 years that it has spent in television has been known to have some of the best themes. Fans remember it is RAW running on TV when they hear the themes and looking back at things now it can be said that these themes were one of the most attractive features of this show.

There were several themes that RAW used for its shows and here is a list of the top 5 WWE RAW themes songs without which the show would have looked incomplete.

1. Across The Nation- Union Underground

Without doubt the best RAW theme I have heard till date. This song had everything to get your adrenaline pumping. The lines ‘Move to the music’ made sure that you moved to this music, no matter what. This song first featured as the theme song of RAW on April 1 2002 and this happened immediately after the attitude era came to an end. This theme was used by RAW successfully by RAW for more than 4 years and was replaced on October 2 2006.

2. We’re All Together Now- Jim Johnston (WWF Attitude Era Theme)

Now if there is one thing other than Stone Cold Steve Austin that defines the Attitude Era, then it has to be this theme. At times I still feel this theme playing in my ears when I think of the Attitude Era. The lyrics, despite stating “We’re all together now”, had an adverse effect on fans thanks to the name of the show RAW is WAR. The moment the guitar starts playing, we feel within ourselves a rush of excitement which meant it was time for WAR. Those were the best days of wrestling and I would completely justify all that we did to make sure we never missed the weekly episodes that started off with this intense music. The theme lasted the entire Attitude Era and was later replaced by Across the Nation in 2002.

3. Burn It To The Ground – Nickelback

One of the most recent RAW themes, this was recently replaced in the 1000th episode. This song started as RAW’s theme in the year 2009 and is without doubt one of the best songs Nickelback has composed. This song had almost everything that you would expect from a RAW theme. The chords, lyrics and the pace of the song blended well with WWE’s PG era. Though not one of the best times for WWE in terms of wrestling, we still had the theme song to cheer about. This song, apart from being RAW’s theme song was also used by Carlito in Lucha Libre USA.
