UFC President hints at Brock Lesnar return

The lastest edition of “UFC Download,” a weekly UFC website chat with President Dana White where he talks about Brock Lesnar.

White discussed the topic of the Beast Incarnate returning to MMA.

“I have a great relationship with Brock, we talk all the time,” White said. “I don’t know, we’ll see. If he wants to fight, he knows my number.”

Rumors of a Lesnar return to the UFC have been strong in recent times especially with speculation over him passing the torch to Roman Reigns at next year’s Wrestlemania when his contract expires.

Even Former WWE announcer Jim Ross spoke on the subject.

“It looks to me like he’s gotten back on track,” Ross told Fox Sports . “He looks phenomenal strength-wise. He’s just scary looking. He’s more scary looking than he was before he left [WWE the first time]. … I see no reason he couldn’t have the potential to return to the UFC and sell pay-per-views.”

Asked about the prospect of a healthy Brock Lesnar competing in the sport, Dana White wondered how a 100-percent healthy Lesnar would perform especially with him having severe bouts of diverticulitis in his last stint.

“It’s pretty amazing what he did and accomplished here while having diverticulitis,” White said. “It would be interesting to see a 100 percent healthy Brock Lesnar compete.”

Two MMA veterans Frank Mir and Shane Carwin have expressed interest in compating with Brock Lesnar if he returns after Wrestlemania on 29 March, 2015.
