Earlier, during the WrestleMania 31 week, it was reported by many sources that Eva Marie will host the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony instead of Jerry Lawler. This was reported by more than one source via PWInsider, but Jerry shot down the reports on Twitter and went on to host the show.
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the reports about Eva hosting the show were genuine, but WWE later changed their minds and put Jerry back as the host.
